Kate Flannery

Hollywood actress Kate Flannery first appeared in the 1999 film Can’t Stop Dancing. That same year, she also played a small role in the movie Trick. Later in 2001, she made her television debut as Bunny in 5 episodes of Spyder Games. She next had one-time roles in Curb Your Enthusiasm, Saturday Night Live, Boomtown, and The Bernie Mac Show. She also had small roles in the films Life Without Dick and Carolina.

She gained wider recognition for starring as Meredith Palmer in the NBC mockumentary sitcom The Office. She was part of the show’s main cast from its premiere in 2005 up to its finale in 2013. She also reprised her role in the spin-offs The Office: The Accountants and The Office: The Outburst. During this period, she had performances in the feature films Danny Roane: First Time Director and You. She also made guest appearances in other shows, such as in Wizards of Waverly Place, The Soup, and The Life & Times of Tim.

In 2015, she played Anne Sullivan in an episode of the period sitcom Another Period. She went on to guest-star in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, and American Housewife. From 2017 to 2019, she starred as Carol in the animated series OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes. After guest-starring in Summer Camp Island, Flannery competed in Dancing with the Stars. She’s also had performances in the films Helicopter Mom, Cooties, Slow Learners, and 4th Man Out.

Kate Flannery’s stint in Dancing with the Stars helped her lose weight. “I lost about 15 pounds — actually a little bit more, closer to 20! And the pain in the neck with that is I feel like I have to keep it up because everybody’s looking,” said the actress. Of course, some diet changes she made also contributed to her weight loss. According to the actress, she’s since learned to stop eating some of the foods she used to enjoy, cutting out sweets and bread from her diet.
