Bollywood star Kalki Koechlin first made a cameo appearance in the 2007 film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. Her performance in the 2009 movie Dev.D gained her stardom, as well as a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. At the beginning of the 2010s, she starred in such films as The Film Emotional Atyachar, That Girl in Yellow Boots, and Shaitan.

She next starred in 2011’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, earning her a Filmfare nomination in the supporting actress category. She later starred in the movies My Friend Pinto, Shanghai, and Ek Thi Daayan. Proving her strong knack for acting, she received another Filmfare nomination for her performance in 2013’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Later in 2015, she starred in the movie Margarita with a Straw.

For her work here, she won the Special Jury Award at the National Film Awards. The following year, she hosted her own show called Kalki’s Great Escape. More recently, she became more active on the small screen. She starred in the web series Smoke, Made in Heaven, Sacred Games, and Bhram. Her latest film performances include Gully Boy and CandyFlip. She also made her Tamil debut in the movie Nerkonda Paarvai.

Kalki Koechlin takes care of her body and overall wellness with healthy eating. “I am lucky that I have a good metabolism rate. If you are in a good, happy space, you are working hard and you are not overeating, then you get to eat everything you can as long as you keep exercising and eat sensible food,” she said.

Instead of dieting, she just makes sure she eats in moderation. Of course, she also focuses on eating nutritious foods. Beans, yogurt, vegetables and fruits are a staple part of her diet plan. She’s also not removing carbs from her diet as she still enjoys bread just as long as she doesn’t have too much.
