American actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus had her career beginnings in the 1980s. She first became known for her work in the sketch-comedy show Saturday Night Live. In the 1990s, she was best known for her role as Elaine Benes in the sitcom Seinfeld. During this period, she also had roles in the films Jack the Bear, North, Father’s Day, and Deconstructing Harry. In the 2000s, she became known for her performances in Curb Your Enthusiasm and Watching Ellie. Her most notable work during this period was as the title role in The New Adventures of Old Christine. In 2012, she began starring as Selina Meyer in the HBO series Veep. Since her beginnings, she has won eight Emmy Awards for her acting work.

The 57-year-old actress stays in shape by sticking to a healthy lifestyle. She shared how she works hard to maintain her healthy weight. She said: Some people have it easier than others. Unfortunately, I have to work at not being fat. I’m always trying different things to see what sticks.” She also revealed how it is important for her to eat in the morning. She said:

“It’s hard for me to eat in the morning. But I recently discovered something I love: two eggs fried in olive oil and a slice of whole-wheat toast with honey. It tastes so good, and I don’t get crazy-hungry before lunch — that’s when I start to make bad food choices. I’ve found the key to healthy eating is finding foods you really like. That way you don’t feel ripped off when you can’t have a fattening doughnut or whatever you’re craving.”

She also loves organic foods, saying: “I love vegetables. I should be a vegetarian, and I feel guilty saying I’m not. But I like meat and chicken. So I buy organic foods whenever they’re available and shop at my local farmers market whenever I can.” She is a huge salad eater, saying “I eat them at least once if not twice a day.”
