John Malkovich is an American actor who has appeared in more than 70 movies. His career started in the 1980s, debuting in the 1983 film Say Goodnight, Gracie. He next had performances in the films Empire of the Sun and Dangerous Liaisons. During the next decade, he had roles in the films In the Line of Fire, Mulholland Falls, Con Air, The Man in the Iron Mask, and Rounders. He also played as himself in 1999’s John Horatio Malkovich. In the 2000s, he portrayed Tom Ripley in Ripley’s Game, Charles II in The Libertine, Humma Kavula in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and Alan Conway in Colour Me Kubrick. His most recent roles are Grigor Andolov in the Showtime series Billions and Hercule Poirot in The ABC Murders, as well as in the films Supercon, Mile 22, and Bird Box.
