G. Hannelius was born on December 22, 1998 in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. She began her acting career after being cast as Courtney Patterson in the television series Surviving Suburbia in 2009.

She followed this with the recurring role of Dakota Condor in Sonny with a Chance. She has since appeared in other shows such as Hannah Montana, Rita Rocks, I’m in the Band, and Love Bites.

In film, she made her debut as Emily Pearson in the Disney Channel Original Movie Den Brother. She has also starred in direct-to-video films like The Search for Santa Paws and Spooky Buddies.
