Biography:

Joel Courtney was born on January 31, 1996 in Monterey, California, U.S. In 2011, he made his feature film debut starring as Joe Lamb in Super 8. That same year, he also played the role of John Westmore in The Haunting Hour: The Series. He next had roles in the films Spare Time Killers, Don’t Let Me Go, Mercy, and Sins of our Youth. He portrayed Tom Sawyer in the movie Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn.

In 2015, he starred as Peter Moore in the short-lived The CW series The Messengers. He then guest-starred in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and APB. Afterward, he had performances in the films Dear Eleanor, The River Thief, and F the Prom. He recently gained wider recognition for his role as Lee Flynn in the Netflix films The Kissing Booth and The Kissing Booth 2.
