Biography:

Trisha Krishnan was born on May 4, 1983 in Palakkad, Kerala, India. She gained notice after winning some beauty contests like the Miss Madras pageant in 1999, leading to her entry to film.

She began her acting career with an uncredited role in the film Jodi. She then appeared in such films as Enakku 20 Unakku 18 and Mounam Pesiyadhe.

In 2004, she was cast in the Telugu film Varsham, for which she received the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu. She continued to earn Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her role in the 2005 film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.
