Hollywood star Jessica Szohr got her career beginnings some time in the early 2000s. Some of her earliest roles were in the film Uncle Nino and the TV movie The Reading Room. She then played Laura, a recurring role on What About Brian. Her breakthrough on television was as Vanessa Abrams on the teen drama Gossip Girl. While on the show, she became more prolific on the cinema. During this time, she had performances in the films Fired Up!, Piranha 3D, I Don’t Know How She Does It, and Tower Heist, among others. In the 2010s, she joined the main cast of the short-lived series Complications. She recently appeared on the TV series Twin Peaks, a continuation of the same series that ran in the early ’90s.

It is apparent the film and television actress takes care of her body through healthy diet and fitness regimen. Even since she started acting in the early 2000s, she’s managed to maintain her slender figure. As a matter of fact she’s improved her physique by being more physically active. This gives her a leaner look and a toned figure. Being in her 30s, the actress knows it’s time for her to take her overall health and wellness more seriously. She can’t be complacent about it because it’ll be harder to get back to a healthier shape once you’ve lost it.

In an interview, she said about her health and fitness: “For me it’s just about balance because I’m not the greatest eater ever. I like my pizza and french fries with ranch sauce. But I also realize if I’m going to eat a lot then I have to work out a little bit. So I try to do yoga a couple times a week. And I’m trying to start to do cardio but it takes me like 30 minutes to run a mile so it’s not working out so well. I have been lately, more than normal, which is probably good because I’m going to eat a ton of cookies and stuff.”
