American comedian and actress Jenny Slate began being active on the screen in the late 2000s. Being a comedian, she started her career on the late night show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. This was followed by a stint on Saturday Night Live. She also appeared as Stella in 5 episodes of Bored to Death. She made her film debut on Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked as a voice actress. But she was first seen in the movie This Means War. She was then critically praised for her lead role in the film Obvious Child. She was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this.

The 5’4 actress is getting more recognized these days. In fact, she has lots of upcoming films. She was first known for her work in comedy. But ever since Obvious Child in 2014, Jenny’s career becomes more promising. Looking at her, she looks naturally slender. Despite her thin frame, she’s actually fit and is energetic to take on more challenges in Hollywood. She’s in her mid 30s now. Thus, she understands the importance of healthy habits, such as exercising and eating right.

She loves food, but she makes sure that she imposes discipline when it comes to her eating habits. As much as possible, she avoids eating processed and fried foods. She avoids sugar, as well as salty and fatty foods. She knows that eating unhealthy will have physical and mental manifestations. In the morning, she contents herself with eggs and toasts or oatmeal with a fruit. For lunch, she either has quinoa rice and chicken or pasta with fish or chicken. For dinner, she sometimes opts for lighter meals. She either has a sandwich or pasta. She just makes sure that she incorporates fruits and veggies in her meals. During her cheat day, she eats pizza and fries.
