James Ransone

James Ransone was born on June 2, 1979 in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. In 2001, he started his Hollywood career in one episode of Law & Order. He was then cast for the part of Ziggy Sobotka in the acclaimed series The Wire. During this period, Ransone also had performances in some films, including Ken Park, A Dirty Shame, Downtown: A Street Tale, and Inside Man. Also, he played Cpl. Josh Ray Person in the miniseries Generation Kill and Tim in How to Make It in America.

In the 2010s, he had remarkable performances in the shows Treme, Low Winter Sun, Bosch, and Mosaic. In 2018, he starred as Nick Fletcher in the short-lived TV drama The First. This year, he appeared as Reiss Julian in 4 episodes of SEAL Team. In the movies, the actor starred in Sinister, Sinister 2, It Happened in L.A., and Write When You Get Work. In 2019, he starred as Eddie Kaspbrak in the horror film It Chapter Two.
