Israel Broussard was born on August 22, 1994 in Gulfport, Mississippi, U.S. In 2010, he began his professional acting career with his debut in the film Flipped. At the same time, he had his first television appearance in 2 episodes of Romantically Challenged. He next had roles in the movies The Chaperone, The Bling Ring, and Earth to Echo. Subsequently, he had notable performances in H8RZ and Jack of the Red Hearts.

He also starred in the Lifetime movie Perfect High. In 2016, he appeared as James McCalister in 2 episodes of Fear the Walking Dead. He later starred in the movie Good Kids, followed by the films Say You Will and Happy Death Day. In 2018, he starred in the Netflix films Extinction and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. He’ll reprise his role to star in the Happy Death Day sequel Happy Death Day 2U in 2019.
