Hollywood star Elizabeth Lail debuted in the 2011 short film Model Airplane. Her next role was in another short film called Without in 2014. That same year, she played Anna, a recurring character in the ABC fantasy-drama series Once Upon a Time. Her first starring role on television was as Amy Hughes in the supernatural horror show Dead of Summer, which she played in 2016. The following year, she guest-starred as Natalie Luca in an episode of The Blacklist.

After this, she landed another guest role in an episode of The Good Fight. In 2018, she made her film debut in the independent movie Unintended. Lail got her breakthrough after getting the part of Guinevere Beck in the Netflix series You, which became widely popular. For her role, she got a Saturn Award nomination for Best Actress in Streaming Presentation. She’ll reprise her role as Guinevere Beck in a guest appearance in You’s Season 2. Just this year, she starred as Quinn Harris in the supernatural horror film Countdown.

Elizabeth Lail stays in shape by eating well. When she’s working, she tries to eat healthy foods most of the time by bringing her own. “The more I can plan, the happier and healthier I tend to be,” said the actress. Recently, she’s also changed her eating lifestyle by becoming a vegan.

“I lived in Queens and there was a halal food truck that is top-notch in the halal world. It’s not just one of the random ones, it was like top ten. It was on my walk from the subway to my apartment and that was always my go-to. That was before I was vegetarian and vegan, but I usually got some kind of falafel over rice. The rack of lamb kind freaks me out a little bit,” shared the actress.
