Dedee Pfeiffer was born on January 1, 1964 in Midway City, California, U.S. She is the younger sister of award-winning actress Michelle Pfeiffer. Her acting career started when she was 21, appearing in the television series Simon & Simon.

This was followed by a minor appearance in the comedy-thriller feature Into the Night, starring her sister. She has since starred in other movies including Vamp, The Allnighter, The Horror Show and Frankie and Johnny, among others.

She also gained substantial exposure on the small screen, playing the roles of Rachel Blanders in the television series Cybill and Sheri Winston in For Your Love.
