David Boreanaz

Hollywood star David Boreanaz had his career beginnings in the early ’90s. His major breakthrough came after landing the role of Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He later reprised his role in the spin-off Angel with him as the lead. After the series ended in 2004, he starred as Seeley Booth in the television series Bones, making him a television staple. Bones ran on television for 12 seasons from 2005 to 2017. His role on the show earned him a People’s Choice Award nomination. Also in the 2000s, he had roles in the movies Valentine, I’m with Lucy, and The Crow: Wicked Prayer. As of 2017, he stars as Jason Hayes in the new series SEAL Team.

The actor has a long stint in the popular series Bones. For his character on the show, he trained his body vigorously for agility and strength. When asked about what he did for his role, he said:

“I usually tone up with core- strength workouts. I do them four times a week with a trainer I’ve been with for about five years now; his name is Andre Hudson. He puts me through a rigorous course incorporating cardio with strength training. I also maintain a pretty strict diet and workout program, because you’re constantly in a pool of people around you for other roles, so you always have to be ready. I work out mostly for my health, but for creative purposes, it helps me get the engines rolling in the morning.”

He’s also always ready for other roles both physically and mentally because he maintains a vigorous fitness regimen. Talking about this, he said: “I maintain a pretty strict diet and workout program because you’re always in the pool for other roles, so you have to be constantly ready. I work out for my health, and creative performances for what I do, it helps me get the engines rolling in the morning.”
