Biography:

Daniel Portman was born on 13 February 1992 in Glasgow, Scotland. He studied acting and performing at the Reid Kerr College in Paisley. In 2010, he made his acting debut in the British movie Outcast. The following year, he made his television debut in the soap opera River City. He next had a role in the film The Angels’ Share.

His break came in 2012 after landing the role of Podrick Payne in the HBO series Game of Thrones. The worldwide popularity of the show helped him get noticed as an actor in Hollywood. He still plays the role up to present and will reprise it in the upcoming eight season. He also appeared in the 2016 movie The Journey.
