Biography:

Daisy Ridley was born on April 10, 1992 in Westminster, London, UK. She completed her studies from the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. She began acting on the screen in 2013 with the short film Lifesaver and some guest appearances on British television such as in Casualty. Her first recurring role came the next year as Hannah Kennedy in Silent Witness.

This was followed by another guest role in Mr Selfridge. After appearing in a series of short films in 2013, she made her big screen debut in the 2014 movie The Inbetweeners 2 as Alicia, though her scenes were deleted. She recently created much buzz after it was announced that she landed a starring role in the much-awaited movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She will play the role of Rey in the movie alongside Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.
