Biography:

Catherine Tresa was born on 10 September 1989 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She started her career working as a model. In 2010, she made her acting debut – in the Kannada movie Shankar IPS, as well as in the Malayalam film The Thriller. She next had performances in the Telugu films Chammak Challo, Iddarammayilatho and Paisa.

For her role in the movie Godfather, the actress received a Best Supporting Actress – Kannada nomination at the Filmfare Awards. Tresa also ventured into Tamil films, first appearing in 2014’s Madras. For her performance, she received Best Actress and Best Female Debut nominations as well. She was also recognized for her acting in the 2017 Telugu film Nene Raju Nene Mantri, which got her a Best Supporting Actress nomination. Her latest movie role was in 2020’s World Famous Lover.
