Betty Gilpin Diet Plan

Betty Gilpin

Hollywood star Betty Gilpin got her start in the mid-2000s with her debut in an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She has since landed more guest roles on such TV shows as New Amsterdam, Fringe, The Unusuals, and Law & Order. Meanwhile, she made her big screen debut in the movie Death in Love, released in 2008. At the same time, she also appeared with a small role in the film Ghost Town. Her career became more prolific in the 2010s. She had notable guest appearances on The Good Wife, Past Life, Medium, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She then became known for her role as Dr. Carrie Roman on the well-known sitcom Nurse Jackie.

She played the said part from 2013 to 2015. She simultaneously acted in the films Take Care and True Story. Following this, she guest-starred in an episode of The Mysteries of Laura, played Fiona Helbron on Elementary, and Dr. Nancy Leveau on Masters of Sex. She also guest-starred on Mercy Street and American Gods. She became further known thanks to her role as Debbie Eagan on the web series GLOW, which she started playing in 2017. For her role, she received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress – Comedy Series. Also, she has a couple of upcoming films next year — Isn’t It Romantic, Stuber, and Grudge.

The 32-year-old actress stays in shape by doing the sanest thing she can do for her body and overall health — stick to a clean diet plan. In an interview, she was asked what’s her typical diet like, to which she answered: “During the show, I try to cut out carbs and up my greens a lot. I’ll do an egg-white omelet and green juice in the morning. I’m a sugar addict, though, so I need to trick myself into thinking I’m having dessert for every meal. And I drink lots and lots of water. Although after shooting I went right to Italy and ate my weight in pasta.”
