Becki Newton debuted as the host of the TV show Burly TV in 2001. She later guest-starred on Cold Case and Guiding Light. She then made her cinematic debut in the 2004 film P.S. That same year, she played Mindy in 3 episodes of American Dreams. She also appeared in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her breakthrough role was as Amanda Tanen in the ABC series Ugly Betty, which she starred in from 2006 to 2010.

This brought her greater prominence. While on the show, she starred in the feature film August Rush, which was released in 2007. Following this, she starred as Annie Matopoulos in the short-lived series Love Bites. From 2012 to 2013, she also became known for her recurring character as Quinn Garvey on How I Met Your Mother. Newton went on to star as Chloe Goodwin in the Fox sitcom The Goodwin Games.

After this, she joined the main cast of Weird Loners as Caryn Goldfarb. However, the show was another short-lived one. In 2018, she began playing the role of Jackie Giannopolis in the HBO comedy series Divorce. She also starred as Katrina Thorn in the CBS All Access show Tell Me a Story. She will star as Andrea in the upcoming feature film Otherhood.

Apart from a healthy diet plan, Newton takes care of her body and overall wellness through exercise. The Becki Newton workout routine is a combination of cardio, yoga, and circuit training. She continues to explore other fitness regimens that she’ll love. Plus, the Ugly Betty star is naturally active and adventurous. She seeks new ways to keep herself physically busy even with her crazy schedule. For instance, she’s tried doing gymnastics. She also loves to dance, so she uses dancing as another form of exercise. And, of course, her work as an actress always keeps her on the go.
