Aubrey Plaza was born on June 26, 1984 in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. She was named after the song “Aubrey” by Bread. She graduated from New York’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2006.

In 2009, she played Daisy Danby, the love interest of Seth Rogen’s character in the film Funny People. She then appeared in films such as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Mystery Team.

As of 2009, she plays April Ludgate in the comedy series Parks and Recreation. She went on to appear in her first starring role in the 2012 comedy film Safety Not Guaranteed.
