Biography:

Asia Argento was born on September 20, 1975 in Rome, Italy. She is the daughter of actress Daria Nicolodi and Italian film director, producer and screenwriter Dario Argento.

She began her career at the age of nine when she appeared in a film by Sergio Citti. She also appeared in the movie Demons, which was produced and written by her father.

She has since starred in well-known films including The Phantom of the Opera, Scarlet Diva, Marie Antoinette, Transylvania, The Last Mistress, Land of the Dead and Dracula 3D. She has also ventured into directing, having written and directed her first film, Scarlet Diva.
