Biography:

Ari Millen was born on January 19, 1982 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He originally wanted to play for the National Hockey League, but an acting opportunity came and he took it. He graduated from Ryerson University’s Theatre School with a BFA degree. He was in his senior year in college and he signed with a talent agency.

He then landed his first television role in an episode of the Canadian series ReGenesis. Around the same time, he also acted on stage productions. He went on to make appearances on the TV shows Nikita, Rookie Blue and State of Syn. He also appeared in the horror films Monster Brawl and Exit Humanity. He earned mainstream recognition for his role as Mark on Orphan Black. He actually has multiple roles on the show.
