Ansel Elgort‘s career beginnings was marked when he starred in the 2013 remake of Carrie. The following year, he joined the main cast of the film Divergent as Caleb Prior. He plays the brother of the lead character. This significantly boosted his career in Hollywood. Continuing his success, he got his first leading role in the movie adaptation of the novel The Fault in Our Stars. He portrayed the male lead Augustus Waters. The film was both a critical and commercial success. He also reprised his role as Caleb in The Divergent Series: Insurgent and The Divergent Series: Allegiant. He will star in the upcoming feature films November Criminals and Billionaire Boys Club.

The young actor is pretty much active when it comes to his fitness routine. He doesn’t appear as all bulked up and chiseled-looking like other young actors. Despite this, Ansel knows how to keep his stamina going. He’s young but he avoids unhealthy lifestyles. He tries his best to mostly engage in fun yet healthy activities. He likes playing some sports. This includes basketball. He also likes doing outdoor activities like hiking. He knows he has start to live right and healthy at a young age. This way, it would be easier for him as he grows older.

He tries his best to eat nutritious food and work out regularly. Normally, he does cardio exercises like running and swimming. This is to keep up with his busier physical endeavors. He has more movies coming and he needs his energy. He also thinks this is important for building his strength. Interestingly, the actor also does boxing, plyo work, and leg workouts. He even goes rock climbing almost everyday. It’s really essential for him to get his legs trained the right way. He said: “If you work your legs and don’t foam roll or stretch, you’re screwed.”
