Biography:

Andrea Bang was born on May 2, 1989 in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. She attended the University of British Columbia where she graduated with a degree in Psychology. In 2015, she made her professional acting debut in the short film Playdate. Bang gained recognition for her role as Janet Kim in the sitcom Kim’s Convenience.

She’s been part of the show’s main cast since 2016. She then made her film debut in the independent movie The Prodigal Dad. Her next role was in the comedy movie Adventures in Public School. She went on to appear in other films, including Camp Death III in 2D! and Luce. The actress also performed in the web series Running With Violet.
