She next joined the main cast of the show All About the Andersons. She later became further known for starring as Veronica Palmero in the television series George Lopez.

She next played starring role Marisa Benez in Trauma. She continued her prolific career in the 2010s. During this period, she appeared in the show Off the Map. She later gained wider recognition for her role as Jamie Batista in the acclaimed series Dexter. More recently, she starred as Didi Diaz in the short-lived series Rush Hour. In 2016, she began playing the role of Ella Lopez in Lucifer. She’s also had roles in the films RoboCop, Sister Cities, and What They Had.

The 39-year-old actress stays in shape by sticking to an active lifestyle. She makes sure that she always gives her body the chance to get moving. She believes how physical activity such as exercising can do wonders for her body and overall health. She also finds her motivation to work out by thinking of its long-term benefits, not just physically but also mentally. In an interview, she got candid about her fitness routine. She explained:

“I work out every day or at least I try to. I believe that exercise preserves youth more than anything else. Sometimes if I’m at home watching TV I do weight-lifting moves with cans during commercials. It really is that easy! Trust me, if you do that and throw in squats and a couple of push-ups during commercial breaks you will see a change in your body.”
