Biography:

Alana de la Garza was born on June 18, 1976 in Columbus, Ohio. After finishing her college degree, she began an acting career and subsequently moved to New York City. She made her TV debut in Mortal Kombat: Conquest in 1999. Two years later, she got a recurring role in the soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. After making guest appearances, she secured a regular role in The Mountain, though the show didn’t last long.

In 2006, she played a recurring role in The Book of Daniel and garnered widespread recognition for her role as Connie Rubirosa in Law & Order and Law & Order: Los Angeles. Her next main role was as Dr. Lena Solis in Do No Harm and as Jo Martinez in Forever. She’s also widely known for her recurring roles in CSI: Miami and Scorpion. On the big screen, she made her debut in the movie Bending All the Rules in 2002. Her recent film was in 2013’s Are You Here.
