Biography:

Aimee Carrero was born on July 15, 1988 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She was raised in Miami, Florida. She studied International Relations at the Florida International University. She started her acting career in 2007, acting in a short film. She then made her TV debut in four episodes of Lincoln Heights. She made her film debut in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel in 2009.

She then became known for starring as Angie in the television movie Level Up. She reprised her role on the TV series version also named Level Up. She also appeared as Jude in the TV film Blue Lagoon: The Awakening. She next appeared as Lucia in four episodes of The Americans. Since 2014, she stars as Sofia Rodriguez on the TV series Young & Hungry. She also voices Princess Elena on the Disney series Elena of Avalor.
