Biography:

Aindrita Ray was born on April 4, 1985 in Udaipur, India. She attended M R Ambedkar Dental College where she took a bachelor’s degree in Dental Science. During college, she worked as a part-time model, appearing in various commercials.

Her acting career started in 2008 with her debut in the Kannada film Meravanige. That same year, she made a special appearance in Mast Maja Maadi, and has since appeared in other films like Junglee, Vaayuputra and Love Guru.

In 2009, she received further fame as a result of her portrayal of Devika in Manasaare, for which she gained awards like the Suvarna Best Actress Award. She also got a Filmfare nomination for Best Kannada Actress.
