Biography:

Tisca Chopra was born on November 1, 1973 in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, India. She attended Hindu College, University of Delhi where she studied English literature. While in college, she became involved in theatre productions.

After completing her education, she moved to Mumbai and studied acting with theatre artists Feroz Abbas Khan and Naseeruddin Shah. Her film career started in 1993 with the feature Platform.

She has since starred in a variety of movies including the Tamil feature I Love India, Taqdeerwala, Gunehgar, Karobaar: The Business of Love, Hyderabad Blues 2, Taare Zameen Par, and Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, among others.
