Tchéky Karyo is a French actor. He started his career in France during the ’80s, debuting in the film The Return of Martin Guerre. In the 1990s, he ventured into international projects, starting with Luc Besson’s Nikita. He next portrayed Vincent van Gogh in the Canadian film Vincent and Me. After this, he starred in Ridley Scott’s 1492: Conquest of Paradise, as well as played the title role in the biographical film Nostradamus. He went on to play supporting roles in several Hollywood films, including Bad Boys, GoldenEye, and Addicted to Love. In the 2000s, he starred in the movies The Core, A Very Long Engagement, The Patriot, and many others. More recently, he starred as Julien Baptiste in the British series The Missing.
