Dileep Rao is an American actor. He started his Hollywood career in 2009, first appearing as Rham Jas in the supernatural horror film Drag Me to Hell. That same year, he starred as Dr. Max Patel in James Cameron’s blockbuster film Avatar. After this, he landed the role of Yusuf in Christopher Nolan’s Inception, gaining him wider recognition. Rao secured more parts in Hollywood. He later starred in the feature films Murder of a Cat and Beeba Boys, released in 2014 and 2015, respectively. He will reprise his role as Dr. Max Patel in the upcoming Avatar sequels Avatar 2 and Avatar 3.
