English actress Suranne Jones had her career beginnings in 1997, debuting in the TV series Coronation Street. She next appeared in an episode of City Central and The Grand. After the birth of her son, the actress needed to get back into shape to play the lead in Doctor Foster. To prepare for this, she didn’t go jogging or swimming. Instead, she did planking while on the set of the show. She said she performed core exercises for 5 minutes. “I always do a plank squad [a group who do the exercise to raise money] so we were planking for charity… so I was exercising on set,” said the actress .
