Biography:

Steven Strait was born on March 23, 1986 in New York City, New York, U.S.. He got his acting training from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. When he was a teenager, he worked as a model and appeared on many magazines. In 2001, he made his acting debut in an episode of Third Watch. Some years later, he made his big screen debut in the movie Sky High.

He next appeared in the films Undiscovered, The Covenant, 10,000 BC, Stop-Loss, and City Island. From 2012 to 2013, he starred as Steven “Stevie” Evans on the short-lived series Magic City. He now stars as Jim Holden on the TV series Expanse. He’s been playing said role since 2015. He played the titular role in the independent film Extra Credit and Arthur Darks.
