Biography:

Sophie Monk was born on December 14, 1979 in England, UK. She first came to prominence as a member of the girl group Bardot after competing in the Australian reality television show Popstars.

The group became the first Australian act to debut at the # 1 position with their debut single “Poison”, and their self-titled debut album. She then began working on her solo album, releasing its first single, “Inside Outside”, in October 2002.

She went on to venture into acting when she portrayed Marilyn Monroe in the made-for-television film The Mystery of Natalie Wood. She has also starred in the films Date Movie and Click.
