Indian actress Shruti Haasan had her career beginnings as a child performer. She debuted in the 2000 film Hey Ram, which his father Kamal Haasan directed. She pursued acting as an adult with the 2009 film Bollywood film Luck. In the 2010s, she garnered popularity for her starring role in the Telugu romantic comedy Oh My Friend. She also gained recognition for her role in the fantasy film Anaganaga O Dheerudu.

At the same time, she ventured into Tamil cinema with 7aum Arivu. Haasan won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South for her performances in Anaganaga O Dheerudu and 7aum Arivu. The actress became a staple name in the South Indian cinema with starring roles in Gabbar Singh, Vedalam, Srimanthudu, and Si3. For her performance in the 2014 action comedy film Race Gurram, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu.

Haasan has also established her career in the Hindi cinema with starring roles in D-Day, Gabbar Is Back, and Welcome Back. Apart from her work as an actress, Haasan is also a prolific playback singer. She has earned nominations for Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for singing “Kannazhaga Kaalazhaga” in 3 and “Yeandi Yeandi” in Puli.

Shruti Haasan stays in shape by eating clean and exercising regularly. While she used to avoid working out, her acting career has since motivated her to really take care of her body not just to stay slim but to also feel good from the inside out. The actress’ workout routine is pretty simple. She regularly goes through cardio exercises, which includes running. Running is one of her go-to workouts. It’s easy and simple but produces several health benefits. She also loves dancing, spending up to 50 minutes of dancing sessions.
