Biography:

Sharman Joshi was born on 28 April 1979 in Mumbai, India. He comes from a family of actors. Arvind Joshi, a notable Gujarati cinematic actor, was his father. Actress Manasi Joshi Roy is also his sister. In 1999, he made his film debut in Godmother. In the 2000s, he had roles in the films Lajja, Style, Xcuse Me, and Shaadi No. 1.

In 2006, he starred in the movie Golmaal. For his work here, he was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role. After more Bollywood roles, Joshi rose to fame for starring as Raju Rastogi in 3 Idiots. For his work, he won the IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actor. In the 2010s, the actor starred in several movies, which include Hate Story 3, 1920 London, and Mission Mangal. He recently starred in the films Babloo Bachelor and Mera Fauji Calling.
