Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor had his acting beginnings in the late 1990s, initially appearing as an extra in films. Later in 2003, he starred in the film Ishq Vishk, winning the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. The actor next starred in the movies Fida, Dil Maange More, Deewane Huye Paagal, Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!, and 36 China Town, among others.

His role as Aditya Kashyap in the 2007 film Jab We Met earned him critical praise. For his work here, he was nominated for Best Actor at the Filmfare Awards. Kapoor received another Best Actor nomination courtesy of his work in the movie Kaminey. After several other performances in the 2010s, the much-loved actor won acclaim for his lead role in the feature film Haider. His portrayal of the title character finally earned him his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

He went on to star as Tommy Singh in the 2016 film Udta Punjab. His acting in this movie was also well-received that he won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor. His subsequent film roles were in Rangoon, Padmaavat, and Batti Gul Meter Chalu. In 2019, he headlined the romantic drama film Kabir Singh.

Shahid Kapoor exercises on a regular basis to keep himself fit and healthy. More recently, his fans have seen him in his fittest. Training for his role in the 2019 film Kabir Singh, the actor upped his workout routine to achieve the ultimate transformation. As for his regular fitness regimen, he doesn’t follow anything specific.

What’s constant in his routine is his workout of 6 days a week and for up to two hours each day. He continues to discover new ways of exercising to mix things up. Overall, he does planks, push-ups, dead-lifts, cardio, and weight training.
