Biography:

Scott Speedman was born on September 1, 1975 in London, England. He was a competitive swimmer but left the sport after a neck injury. He then switched his interest to acting, attending University of Toronto and York University to study drama.

He auditioned for the role of Robin in Batman Forever but lost the role to Chris O’Donnell. Despite this, he got the exposure he needed and immediately arranged an agent.

He made his breakthrough in 1998 with the television series Felicity where he played Ben Covington. He gained further fame for his role as Michael Corvin in Underworld, reprising his role in Underworld: Evolution.
