Sarah Jeffery was born on April 3, 1996 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. At a young age, she started performing musicals and other stage productions. Her first acting role was in the pilot Aliens in the House in 2013. That same year, she starred as Evie Travis in the TV series Rogue. At the same time, she played recurring character Amy Breslow in Wayward Pines.

In 2015, she played Princess Audrey in the Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants. She reprised her role with her voice in the animated series Descendants: Wicked World. That same year, she had her first cinema role in Across the Line. Jeffery gained wider recognition for playing Cristina Santos in the NBC crime drama Shades of Blue. As of 2018, she stars as Maggie Vera in the 2018 remake of Charmed.
