Biography:

Ryan McPartlin was born on July 3, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois. After high school, he enrolled at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. There, he studied speech communication. After graduating and spending some time abroad, he went to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Prior to his acting career, he worked as a model, particularly for Abercrombie & Fitch.

In 1999, he made his debut in an episode of The Nanny. From 2001 to 2004, he played Hank Bennett in Passions. He next starred as Riley Douglas Martin in the short-lived series Living with Fran. From 2007 to 2012, he gained mainstream recognition for his role as Devon Woodcomb in Chuck. In 2016, he had a recurring role in Devious Maids as Kyle.
