It was in 1995 that Hollywood star Rosario Dawson started her career. She was in her late teens at the time. She followed this with a couple more roles in the movies. In the 2000s, she gained further notice for starring and/or supporting roles in the movies Josie and the Pussycats and Men in Black II, among others. She played the role of Roxana in Oliver Stone’s Alexander. She next starred as Gail in Robert Rodriguez’s and Frank Miller’s Sin City. Her subsequent movies are Clerks II, Death Proof, and Seven Pounds. In 2008, she starred in the web series Gemini Division. In the 2010s, she starred in the films Zookeeper, Gimme Shelter, César Chávez, and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Presently, she is known as Claire Temple in the Marvel Universe shows Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. She also reprised her role in The Defenders.

She may be nearing her 40s but the actress remains fit and youthful. She achieves her glowing look by focusing on a plant-based diet. She also takes care of herself through working out apart from her diet. In an interview, the actress highlighted the importance of exercise. She said: “Whether we’re too busy or feeling overwhelmed, the first thing many of us give up is exercise.” “It’s ironic, since that’s often the one thing that can help us through difficult periods,” she added.

She went on to say: “It’s meditative and calming to get your body in motion. But getting back in the saddle can be the hardest thing.” For one, Rosario is a yoga enthusiast. She also maintains her body’s fitness by doing Pilates. About her getting hooked on Pilates, she revealed: “Leslie Bibb, my costar in Zookeeper, got me into it. After just a couple of weeks, I noticed a physical change, especially in my posture. Now I stand differently, I sit differently. I don’t love working out, but I can honestly say I miss Pilates and how it makes my body feel. And there’s nothing like it when those endorphins kick in.”
