Rachel Ward is an Australian actress. She first appeared in the 1979 TV movie Christmas Lilies of the Field. Later in 1981, she had her first movie role in the Hollywood slasher film Night School. She next had performances in the films Sharky’s Machine, Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid, The Final Terror, Against All Odds, Hotel Colonial, The Umbrella Woman, and How to Get Ahead in Advertising. She continued her cinematic career in the ’90s. During this period, she starred in After Dark, My Sweet and Christopher Columbus: The Discovery, among others. In the 2000s, she became more active on television where she starred in the short-lived shows Monarch Cove and Rain Shadow.
