Biography:
Preity Zinta was born on January 31, 1975 in Simla, India. She attended St Bede’s College and graduated with an English honours degree. She also earned a postgraduate degree in criminal psychology.
In 1998, she made her acting debut in Dil Se.., followed by another appearance in the film Soldier the same year. Her performances in both films earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
She then starred in the drama Kal Ho Naa Ho in 2003, for which her performance was widely acclaimed, also earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Actress.
