Biography:

Mona Singh was born on October 8, 1979 in Chandigarh, India. Her acting career started in 2003 with her debut in the television serial Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, playing her role until 2006.

For her performance in the show, she won the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role in 2004 and 2005. This was followed by Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi in which she portrayed the character of Raunaq Kapoor.

She recently appeared in Kya Huaa Tera Vaada and was declared the winner of the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 1. On film, she has starred in 3 Idiots, Utt Pataang and Zilla Ghaziabad.
