Hollywood star Miranda Cosgrove started her career at an early age. She made her TV debut as the Young Lana Lang in the pilot episode of Smallville. She next made her cinematic debut in School of Rock, which also turned out to be her first huge break as an actress. Subsequently, she landed the role of Megan Parker on the Nickelodeon series Drake & Josh. Afterwards, she secured the lead part of Carly Shay on the Nickelodeon show iCarly. It ran for seven seasons, gaining her mainstream fame. In the movies, she is the voice of Margo in Despicable Me and its sequels. She’s recently starred on the short-lived sitcom Crowded.

Even at a young age, the actress tries her best to stay fit and healthy by eating mostly nutritious foods. She doesn’t stay complacent of her youth and knows that she needs to work hard in order to maintain a slender and a fit body. Being on the limelight since she was little, it was a challenge for Miranda to stay on her ground, especially when it comes to eating. In an interview, she said about sustaining a healthy diet:

“On the set, it can get a little scary because there is so much candy and cookies right in front of you. So you have to try to balance it out. But I think I am pretty lucky because I go to a lot of restaurants around the set with my mom, and they have so many different things, like Italian food and sushi.”

When asked about her best health habit, she answered: “My best is probably my diet. I love sushi and I love fruit. I’m always making smoothies. My worst health habit: Our craft service lady makes these killer brownies. I can’t help but eat one every single time she makes those.”
