Bollywood star Minissha Lamba had her career beginnings in 2005, debuting in the film Yahaan. The following year, she gained notice for her roles in the movies Corporate, Rocky: The Rebel, and Anthony Kaun Hai. This was followed by her performances in the films Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. and Dus Kahaniyaan.

In 2008, she starred in 4 features: Bachna Ae Haseeno, Kidnap, Shaurya, and Anamika. That same year, she also made her television debut, starring in the television show Chhoona Hai Aasmaan. She continued her acting career in the 2010s, during which she had performances in the films Well Done Abba, Bheja Fry 2, Hum Tum Shabana, and Zilla Ghaziabad.

In 2013, Lamba made her Punjabi debut in the film Heer and Hero. She starred in another Punjabi movie, Double Di Trouble. She went on to star in the Hindi movies Bheja Fry 3 and Bhoomi. Lamba also joined the reality series Bigg Boss 8. In 2018, she appeared in the television shows Tenali Rama and Internet Wala Love.

Minissha Lamba takes maintains her healthy figure by eating right. She has since learned to avoid processed foods, as well as cut back on carbs and sugar. All her efforts and discipline lead her to lose weight and feel stronger. Talking about her weight loss and fitness journey, the actress said in an interview:

“It was eight long months of denying myself cakes and pastries. But I plan to continue to stick to the same diet. And now that I’m in shape, I don’t feel like eating stuff that’s wrong for me. My body has gotten used to being in a particular way and resistant to putting on weight. It also rejects something that is not right for it.”
