Michelle Yeoh is a Malaysian actress. She started her career in the 1980s in Hong Kong cinema. During the 1990s, she became more famous for her starring roles in mostly Hong Kong action films. This led her to join the main cast of the Hollywood film Tomorrow Never Dies alongside Pierce Brosnan. A few years later, she cemented her international fame courtesy of her work in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. She has since starred in other international productions. This includes Danny Boyle’s Sunshine and the Hollywood movie The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. She also had a supporting role in the movie Memoirs of a Geisha. She recently reprised her role as Yu Shu Lien in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny.
