Merrin Dungey is an American actress. Her Hollywood career started in the mid-1990s. She made her debut in an episode of the show Martin in 1995. She next appeared as Wanda in Party Girl. She made her big screen debut as Sheila Bradley in the movie Deep Impact, followed by the film EDtv. She later had a recurring role as Kelly Palmer on the TV show The King of Queens. In the 2000s, she played Kitty Kenarban on Malcolm in the Middle and Joan on Grosse Pointe. She then gained recognition for her role as Francie Calfo / Allison Doren on the show Alias. In the 2010s, she had notable roles as Alissa Barnes on Betrayal, Sharon Jeffords on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Dr. Susan Hamburg on Chasing Life, Ursula on Once Upon a Time, and Detective Adrienne Quinlan on Big Little Lies. She also starred on the short-lived series Conviction as Maxine Bohen.
