Mercedes Masohn

It was in 2005 that actress Mercedes Masohn got her start in the show business, first appearing in One Life to Live. Her first movie was an extra in The Break-Up. Her first notable role on the small screen was as Vanessa in 4 episodes of Three Rivers. She landed more substantial roles in the 2010s, playing Zondra in Chuck. She then joined the main cast of the short-lived series The Finder as Isabel Zambada.

During this period, she also had her first starring role on the big screen with Quarantine 2: Terminal. She later played recurring role Louise Leonard in the TV series 666 Park Avenue. Subsequently, she played Talia Del Campo in NCIS: Los Angeles. During this period, she also had roles in the films Three Veils, Slightly Single in L.A., General Education, and Sniper: Legacy. Her latest movie was 2015’s Ana Maria in Novela Land. From 2015 to 2017, she became known for her role as Ofelia Salazar in Fear the Walking Dead.

To stay in shape, the Swedish-American beauty follows an active lifestyle. She works out on a regular basis and loves to do so. When asked what her healthiest habit is in an interview with Self, she said: “Going to the gym. Also, I do lunges and squats while I’m on the phone with my mother…she’s a talker to say the least, so my glutes have her to thank!”

When it comes to her go-to workout, the actress said she’s a fan of spin classes. She said: “It’s such great cardio! I usually leave completely soaked in sweat. Then I try to fit in some weight lifting as well, since it sculpts and defines. Also, were I to be caught in any epic street fights, I’d be able to hold my own. I’d throw a hard right jab and then run away whining about a broken nail.”
