Australian-American celebrity Melissa George is an ex-national rollerskating champion and model in her native country. In the ’90s, she became known on Australian television for her role as Angel on the soap opera Home and Away. She then decided to further her acting career by moving to Hollywood where she made her first appearance in Dark City. She then gained notice for her appearances in the films The Limey and Mulholland Drive. The rest of the 2000s saw her star in several films. This includes The Amityville Horror, Turistas, and 30 Days of Night. During this period, she also acted on American television. She had notable roles on Alias, Grey’s Anatomy, and Lie to Me. Her last film was in 2013’s Felony. After this she had notable roles on the TV shows The Good Wife, The Slap, and Heartbeat.

She may be in her 40s, but the Aussie actress surely knows how to take care of her body and overall health. Melissa is also a mother of two kids, yet she makes it a point to have time to keep active. She understands the importance of maintaining a healthy body through regular exercise, even if in moderation. Especially since she’s in her crucial age. Because of this, she has succeeded in maintaining her slender and toned figure that would make you think that she’s only in her 30s.

Surprisingly, the actress is not really fond of going to the gym. She does her workouts in her own ways and mostly out of the gym. She said in an interview a few years back: “I don’t like going to the gym. I do a Tracy Anderson workout for an hour and a half, twice a week. I also do Pilates and spinning, and I walk everywhere in New York about ten miles a day.”
